Collagen is what keeps skin plump and youthful. We have plenty of this precious protein as children, but as adults we naturally slow down our production of collagen. This can lead to wrinkles, folds and a general downward shift of facial features. This treatment will help revitalize your complexion by giving your skin a boost in radiance and youthful fullness.

A mild acid is applied to the skin in order to remove the damaged outer layers of the skin and to encourage fresh, healthy skin cells to the surface. You’ll feel your face get warm and a little bit tingly – that’s the acid working. A neutralizing solution is applied to stop the reaction once its work is done. This is ideal for treating damage caused by overexposure to the sun – sunspots/freckles and fine wrinkles – but is also an effective way to treat acne scarring. The result is smoother, brighter, more even-toned skin. No recuperation period is necessary for this treatment. 

Repeated treatments will actually strengthen skin, helping it become more resilient and thicker (in the very best sense). Not all acids are the same and your skin doesn't always need the same kind. We'll analyze your skin's current condition and apply the acid you need, whether it's for congestion, exfoliation or hyperpigmentation.  

We recommend a yearly boost of six weekly peels, ideally after summer (to treat hyperpigmentation and help detox skin) or after winter (to rejuvenate dull, "sleepy" skin).

Light therapy nourishes and heals the skin, there's absolutely no down time, it feels so good most clients ask to extend the session (sorry, no) and it's a fantastic option for people who don't have a lot of time (most appointments are under 30 minutes).

Your sessions are completely personalized, as we fine-tune our machine to adapt to your specific skin type and skin needs each day - you might be dehydrated during one visit, congested on the next. This technology can reach to a depth of 830 mm, even stimulating the lymphatic system, which is why this therapy is particularly ideal for post inflammation, easily reducing signs of irritation by 50 percent in a single session.

Light therapy features blue, red and yellow light, each penetrating the skin at different depths, to achieve different purposes. It's not uncommon for us to create a program that combines a variety of lights.

Blue light penetrates to an average depth of 415 mm and is typically used to treat and prevent acne. Its effects are best complemented with a peel.

Red light reaches an average depth of 633 mm, where your dermal layer is and where aging happens. This is our hero for anti-aging, stimulating collagen, breaking down scar tissue and prompting your body's natural growth factors.

Our yellow light treatment is combined with infrared light, so the range of depth is 830 - 590 mm. This is particularly ideal for treating the fascia, lymphatic drainage and general healing (especially soothing after a Pico Facial).

Most programs see best results with visits twice a week, except for the anti-aging protocol (red light), which is optimized with weekly visits. Light therapy is most often used for the face but can actually be used almost anywhere on the body. We've treated many clients as part of their post-surgical care to help boost healing while reducing scar tissue.

This therapy encourages the growth of new skin cells including collagen, so it’s a very healing procedure. It’s also particularly good for sensitive skin due to the very gentle and non-invasive delivery system.

The oxygen that’s being used has been fortified with vitamins, amino acids, enzymes and minerals. This is directed to the lower levels of skin tissue to replenish oxygen-starved cells. As such, this treatment is especially good for people who are exposed to pollutants like tobacco smoke, which robs cells of oxygen.

Skin appears firmer, fuller and supple. Effects are noticeable immediately but because of the healing nature of this facial, you’ll continue to see improvements in the coming weeks as collagen fibres begin to improve the elasticity in your skin. 

This procedure removes vellus hairs and also gets rid of the superficial layer of dead skin. The brightening effect on the skin is immediate, and it can help skin-care products sink in better and makeup go on smoother.
