Two weeks before filming the biggest music video of my career all hell broke loose! Well, at least on my face. I’ve never experienced this kind of break out!

After seeing a doctor and a dermatologist (who both misdiagnosed the situation and wanted to throw drugs at me) I wound up being rescued by Touch of Joy. She identified and started treating my situation minutes after walking in her door. Three of her one on one sessions had me back on my feet and looking great for my video in under 10 days. She really saved my ass! Thankfully this was a one-time event that has not returned.

So the corrective and maintenance care for my skin continued long after each facial session into my daily routine. Joy’s custom facial is unbeatable- a real treat for my skin. She never rushes but pays full attention and treats my skin based on its needs at the time. I’ve had steaming, exfoliation, light therapy, hydration, microdermabrasion and IPL, and these different treatments have helped to even out my skin tone, reduce pigmentation and freckles, reduce wrinkles, and helped to rejuvenate my skin and make it healthier and stronger.

In addition, I find Joy’s recommended products, particularly Swissline and Jan Marini, wonderful tools for skincare maintenance and recovery respectively. Because each facial session is custom, Joy adjusts the treatment and her recommendation for skin products to suit the needs of my skin at that particular time and season. I am grateful to Joy for her dedication to skincare and for the help she has given me in looking after my skin.

What I really enjoyed was that it was very relaxing throughout each session and I was also able to feel and see the difference it made right away.
