PMU by Raquel

PMU stands for Permanent MakeUp. Unlike traditional tattooing, Raquel's technique uses either micro blades to create hair like strokes, or a singular needle from her dermopigmentation machine to create the most natural looking brows.

  • How long does the tattoo it last for?

We use a semi-permanant technique, so it generally lasts for 18-24 months, depending on how well you care for them and how quickly your body synthesizes the dye.

  • Does it hurt?

Everybody has different pain thresholds so we ensure our clients are as comfortable as possible by using two different numbing products. The first is a topical and the second penetrates much more deeply. While most will still feel some level of discomfort, we’ve also had clients who have fallen asleep during the procedure.

  • How long does it take?

Expect to spend three to four hours for your initial visit and two to three hours for your follow-up appointment. This depends on how much work you’d like to have done. After each session, the majority of clients experience virtually no downtime so you won’t need to alter your day’s schedule in any way.

  • Price Range

Price depends on how long it takes and what style of brows you're going for. Price includes the follow up appointment.

Brow colour correction is an added $200. This is if you have an old tattoo that has turned red, grey, or purply in colour.
